Box Office Clerk (Part-Time)

·        80 hours per month - flexible. On average, five shifts of 4 hours per week. (Height of season, in excess of 30 hours per week).  Involves unsocial working hours.

·        Salary £8,221.62 (for 80 hours per month) with progression to £9,575.68


We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and organised person to work in the box office, selling tickets for a variety of shows, both in person and over the telephone, and acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors.

Sales will be made using our box office system, Spektrix. Consequently, some basic computer knowledge is necessary.

We pride ourselves at the Princes Hall on a high level of customer care, so a friendly, courteous and efficient manner is essential.


The post requires some unsocial working hours: shared weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year.

 At the Princes Hall, we have space available for one work experience student in March and one in June.

We are happy to take applications from any person who has a genuine interest in working in the arts or theatre.
