The Princes Hall is the perfect place to hold a birthday party, anniversary or family event.
We make organising any event simple and can tailor packages to suit your requirements.
With two suites situated on the ground floor, there is the flexibility to cater for large gatherings of up to 150 people and smaller events for up to 20.
They can be hired together or individually. Both rooms have dance floors and bars.

Catering and Bars
At the Princes Hall we have our own in-house caterers, Clarks Caterers Ltd who provide catering at events and manage our bars.
The bar closes at 11.30pm. It is possible to have a bar extension but this is at the discretion of the Princes Hall management and must be arranged before the day of the function.
Guests will be asked for ID before being served at the bar.
Hirers are able to bring in their own anniversary / birthday / wedding cakes. The Caterers can provide a cake stand and knife if required.
Hirers who are not having catering, must supply their own tablecloth's.
The venue has rectangular tables, (4ft and 6ft in length). Round tables can be hired in at an extra cost.
DJ's / Entertainment
Hirers can bring in their own disco / live band / entertainment.
It is possible to play music via our PA system in the Princes Suite.
It is recommended that any entertainment finishes half an hour before the room has to be cleared, allowing enough time to pack away equipment.
Please note, smoke and bubble machines are not permitted.
For parties, the room hire charge is payable one month before the date of the party. If full payment is not received by the agreed date, then the function will be cancelled.

There is an additional charge for Door Security for all 16th - 21st birthday parties and young people's events. Two Door Supervisors, are required for each event and the cost is recharged to the hirer. It is the hirer's responsibility to provide a guest list for the Door Supervisors.
During events there will be a member of Princes Hall's staff on duty at all times.
Hirers are permitted to decorate the rooms with banners, streamers and balloons. There are hooks in the ceiling that can be used to hang balloons and streamers.
If available the hirer will be given three permits to park cars in the staff car park to the side of the building, it may be possible to increase this number depending upon what other events are taking place. Guests can also park in the nearby High Street Car Park - charges apply. Please see our parking information page for more information.
Princes Hall staff are responsible for cleaning the room and putting away the tables and chairs at the end of a function.
