Performance Indicators
In order to ensure we continue to provide an excellent standard of service, we monitor our performance in all areas of the business. Each month we measure a number of performance indicators, which we then compare to both our own past performance, and to that of other similar venues.
The graphs below show our recent performance in a variety of areas, including attendance levels, event numbers, and customer service levels. If you have any questions, or there is other information you would like to see published, then please contact the venue manager, David Phillips, on 01252 398 570 or email david.phillips@rushmoor.gov.uk.
The Princes Hall has around 100,000 visitors each year. The busiest time is always the Christmas pantomime season, with the summer months and New Year comparatively quiet.
Over 16,000 people came to see last Christmas’s production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, some 1,300 more than the previous year’s record for ‘Beauty & The Beast’.
The Princes Hall shows films by projecting from DVD, rather than on a 35mm projector. Films are shown at the ‘Monday Movies’ and ‘Saturday Morning Pictures’ every 3 to 4 weeks.
SNAP Disco’s are held once a month on a Friday night, (except during August and December). They are an ‘anti-drugs’ initiative, (SNAP stands for ‘Say No And Phone’), for 11 to 16 year olds.
Our Youth Theatre is designed for 5 to 16 year olds with an interest in the theatre. Since it’s launch in 2002, the Youth Theatre has grown from 3 sessions a week accommodating 50 members, to 5 sessions a week with almost 90 members. There is always a big demand for places.
Of the Princes Hall’s 850 or so events each year, around 500 are ‘hired events’ These include meetings, wedding receptions, parties, etc, which all take place in one of our four function rooms.
The number of visits to www.princeshall.com continues to increase as the popularity of our on-line ticket booking service rises.
Our online booking service continues to become more and more popular, especially with our younger audience. For example, the large percentage of sales in July & August 2007, was mainly due to the visits of comedians Jimmy Carr and Frank Skinner.

These figures are taken from the responses to our ‘Hirer’s Surveys’. These surveys are sent after events to every first time hirer, and twice a year to our regular hirers.
Clarks Caterers are the Princes Hall’s on-site contract caterer. Again, these figures are taken from our regular ‘Hirers Surveys’.
