If you would like to hold your own show or event, our Main Hall is available for hire.

Whether you would like to hold a fashion show, concert or dance show we can cater to all your needs.

The requirements of your show (including technical services and staffing), will influence the price to hire the venue.

Each event in our Main Hall is priced individually. Please find below some examples of the costs you should think about when hiring our venue.

Room Hire Charge - For example from £1,500.00 for a Saturday night between 3pm and midnight.

Stewards - If you are inviting an audience to come and watch your show you need to ensure that you book our trained stewards. We do stipulate that you must use our stewards, as they are trained in what to do in the event of an emergency. 

PRS - If you intend to use music that is still under copyright during your show, you will be charged PRS.

Box Office - If you do not want the added hassle of selling your own tickets, our Box Office is more that happy to do it for you. For more information on selling tickets, please read our Ticket Sales fact sheet pdf icon Tickets Sales & Box Office Services [596kb].

Deposit - A £500.00 deposit is required to secure all bookings.

There are two hall hire rates at the Princes Hall, commercial and non - commercial / charity. To qualify for the charity rate, a charity registration number must be supplied.

Seating Numbers and Ticketing

The Main Auditorium hold 595 seats. This figure includes row I (26 seats) which is used for all sold out shows. By using row I, the leg room on the back rows of the stalls is slightly narrower.

Two seats are put aside for Stewards and 6 seats are reserved as house seats.

6 wheelchairs spaces are allocated at the left hand side of the stalls. Two seats are taken out for each wheelchair.

Therefore, in the first instance Hirers are advised to work to the figure of 561 available seats.

Film Showings

Any films shown on the premises must be certified either by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by Rushmoor Borough Council.

If no certification is available, the film viewing may only be attended by adults, with no under 18's permitted. ID will be checked on entry.



For Main Hall shows and events, a £500.00 room hire deposit is due at the time of booking. You will be sent an invoice after your event, payment is required within seven days.

Useful Information

During events there will be a member of Princes Hall's staff on duty at all times.

If available the hirer will be given three permits to park cars in the staff car park to the side of the building, it may be possible to increase this number depending upon what other events are taking place. Guests can also park in the nearby High Street Car Park - charges apply. Please see our parking information page for more information.
