After Funeral Receptions

We have experience in arranging after funeral-receptions sensitively and professionally.

Our aim is to make the whole process of organising the reception as easy as possible for you so you can focus on spending time with your family and friends.

We have two rooms on the ground floor of the venue, which are available for hire. They can be used individually or opened up for larger gatherings. The Princes Suite can accommodate up to 80 guests and the Tichbourne Suite can hold up to 40 guests.

We also offer a selection of buffet menus which can be mixed and matched to suit your personal taste, please see our after funeral-reception menu options on the right hand side of the page.

On the day, we will set the room to your requirements and will meet and greet your guests on arrival. You are then able to focus on spending time with your family and friends without the worry of having to organise any of the small details.


To hire Princes Suite for 3 hours £200.00

Catering will be charged separately.

Catering and Bars

At the Princes Hall we have our own in-house caterers, Clarks Caterers Ltd who provide catering at events and manage our bars.

Hirers are not permitted to bring in own food or drink. All catering must be provided by Clarks Caterers Ltd.. They can be contacted on 01252 514217, email

The venue has rectangular tables, (4ft and 6ft in length). Round tables can be hired in at an extra cost.


For After Funeral Receptions, a £200.00 room hire is payable at the time of booking.

Useful Information

During events there will be a member of Princes Hall's staff on duty at all times.

Princes Hall staff are responsible for cleaning the room and putting away the tables and chairs at the end of a function.

If available the hirer will be given three permits to park cars in the staff car park to the side of the building, it may be possible to increase this number depending upon what other events are taking place. Guests can also park in the nearby High Street Car Park - charges apply. Please see our parking information page for more information.
